After building my reputation as an art consultant by placing artwork in the public sphere, I am now offering my background in art, architecture and administration to individuals looking to create or expand their personal art collections.

In selecting artwork, I consider each room a distinct experience and every artwork a surprise — of subject matter, of placement or of materials — with the goal of placing artworks in dialogue as though they always belonged together.

Works have been sourced primarily from galleries across Canada and I have worked with artists directly to commission art for specific spaces.

Framing, transportation and installation can be arranged and supervised, as well as the refreshing of your collection with a new hanging or placement in another residence.

BACKGROUND

Originally my specialty and focus was commissioning art for public places, primarily for commercial and residential developers and for transportation clients. Concurrently, as the Director of the Toronto Sculpture Garden (TSG) for its first 35 years, I organized over 100 exhibitions and developed a sound working relationship with Canadian and international artists.
